Jessie Badzik is a biomedical artist whose work lives in the space between science, technology, and art. She graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Biomedical Art, beginning her career by designing and manufacturing craniofacial implants for a medical device company in Cleveland, Ohio. Her interest in medicine and science led her to further studies in post‑baccalaureate pre‑medicine programs at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland State University.

Over the past 15 years, Jessie has guided R&D teams across the medical device industry, shaping products through design, quality, and regulatory insight. Throughout her career, she has carried a steady belief that biomedical art can cast light into complexity, offering clarity and meaning where technical language falls short.

Botany is one of her enduring passions, and plants often become the quiet protagonists of her paintings. In each piece, Jessie seeks to bring stories to life with clarity and imagination, inviting viewers to pause, look closely, and rediscover the beauty and intricacy woven throughout the natural world.

Jessie's work has been published in scientific journals, exhibited in various museums, and trade shows. Jessie is dedicated to creating anatomically and scientifically accurate artwork. Every creative piece was thoroughly researched and rendered by hand (no AI used).
